Labor law and employment

Opus Simplex has been active in the different areas of the Hungarian labour law and employment for more than a decade. Our colleagues have complex knowledge of the sets of employment rules applicable to the private sector and the public sector, and they utilise their knowledge in a variety of areas and forms.

Within the framework of our professional workshop our colleagues have written four commentaries to laws, many textbooks and handbooks, and hundreds of professional articles published online and in paper form. They regularly give lectures at public trainings, teach at universities, centres for further trainings in law and specialised lawyer trainings.

We also cooperate with several legal content providers for the purpose of developing innovative professional materials to be published for employers. One of our major achievements is the HR Law Collection of one of the country’s leading legal content providers, which was edited by us in its entirety; we also prepared for this company many navigators presenting labour and payroll processes.

In practice, our colleagues use this knowledge to support our partners, who can receive help from them to solve their questions arising during their day-to-day employment activities. The support—although it is based on labour law—is primarily of economic nature: we help employers to achieve their business and economic goals and establish efficient employment systems and practices in line with these goals. Our answers are not descriptive; instead, they contain specific recommended solutions, which are adapted to these goals and not only from a labor law aspect in a strict sense, but also from a taxation, social security, data controlling and employment perspective.
